Chocolate Chunk Drumstick Pie
1 Store-bought graham cracker pie crust
5 Tablespoons creamy peanut butter
1 1/2 cups finely chopped pecans
1 3.9 oz box Jell-o Chocolate Fudge pudding & pie filling
1 1/2 cups milk chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate chunks
Dallop peanut butter in bottom of pie crust and spread evenly with a knife. Sprinkle chopped pecans over peanut
butter, making a solid layer. Mix pudding according to pie filling directions on box, stirring in chocolate chunks.
Spread pudding mixture over chopped pecans, and sprinkle top lightly with a few reserved chopped pecans for garnish.
Refrigerate according to package directions (approximately 1 to 3 hours).
This recipe is one of my own inventions, and has become a favorite of my family. It's named the "Drumstick Pie"
because my husband says it tastes like the Drumstick ice cream treat. I hope you and your family enjoy it!
